Gel filled SCEED 42 High Power battery.
A gel battery has battery acid which is bound in a gel.
This means that it can be operated in any position (lying or upside down) and is 100% leak-proof. It is also filled by the manufacturer and ready to use right out of the box.
In addition, it has a longer service life than a conventional battery.
Likewise, the possible withdrawal current at low temperatures is higher. A great advantage for year-round riders.
NOTE: The following specifics apply to the sale of starter batteries: According to § 10 BattG, the seller is obliged to charge end users a deposit of 7.50 euros including VAT if the end user does not return a used starter battery to the seller at the time of purchase of the new starter battery. The customer will receive a deposit voucher when purchasing a starter battery. When returning the old starter battery to a collection point set up by the public waste disposal authority, the Customer shall have the disposal confirmed by means of a stamp and signature.
